British actor Alan Rickman, know for deliciously evil bad guy roles in Die Hard and Quigley Down Under, comedic roles as in Galaxy Quest, an execrable Kevin Costner Robin Hood movie, and most recently the corridors of Hogwarts, has passed away at age 69, apparently of cancer.
I, for one, shall miss his incomparable sneer. Rest in peace, Mr. Rickman.
