Obama Vs. The Democrats

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Obama's decision to declare war on Fox News, is ill advised for any number of reasons. One is that a certain kind of Democrat, we'll call them "open minded" Democrats, listen to Fox News, some of them, on a daily basis.

According to a recent Pew Poll, more Democrats have a favorable view of Fox News than they do of the New York Times.

These Democrats are probably the ones who would be willing to stand with the President when he makes statements like this:

This is not a war of choice. This is a war of necessity. Those who attacked America on 9/11 are plotting to do so again. If left unchecked, the Taliban insurgency will mean an even larger safe haven from which al Qaeda would plot to kill more Americans. So this is not only a war worth fighting. This is a — this is fundamental to the defense of our people.

-Barack Hussein Obama, August 17, 2009

Unfortunately, the Left Wing nutroots base of his party, we'll call them "Kool-Aid Drinking Democrats", are ready to storm the White House with pitchforks over Obama's failure to withdraw the troops from Afghanistan.

Not content to merely offend the nutroots, Obama may have alienated the rest of the Democratic party as well with his war on Fox News! Smooth move, 'Bamster!
